When to visit Kuala Lumpur
The climate is hot and humid all year, and rain usually comes as short afternoon showers. You can visit in any month, but the beach you pair it with depends on the season.
Where should families stay?
| Area | Best for | Pros and cons |

| Bukit Bintang | Shopping and Arab restaurants | Pavilion mall and well-known Arab restaurants. Crowded and loud at night. |
| KL Sentral | Transport | Connected directly to the airport train. Less appealing for strolling. |
